Multi-stakeholder Engagement
We design and lead participatory processes that connect the people who need to be part of the conversation: citizens, policymakers, researchers, companies, civil society. Our methodology is built around three core approaches that we scope and combine depending on what the project needs.
These can work as standalone modules or be combined into a full engagement process. If you’re not sure which approach fits your situation, that’s a good place to start the conversation.
Co-design gives stakeholders a real say in shaping the work from the start. Rather than being consulted after decisions have been made, participants collaboratively define the challenge that is relevant to them within a certain theme or topic, setting the stage for the development of relevant, sometimes unexpected, solutions.
Taking the idea of co-design even further, co-creation allows stakeholders to take matters into their own hands. Together, they will collaboratively build, implement, and assess the solution for a challenge, which often comes in the form of a new innovation, service, or policy.
Co-assessment brings stakeholders into the evaluation of a project, policy, or innovation while there is still room to adjust. Together, they define what success should look like, track progress against those criteria, and feed what they learn back into the work, so decisions are grounded in the perspectives of the people they affect.
Understanding your needs and identifying your challenges. This step is common to all the different methodologies and helps us define the best approach for every situation.
